There are warm cherry and wild bramble flavours, with a chewy textured finish.
We've been growing Sangiovese for about 10 years now, and it's been a really rewarding variety for us. Originally from Tuscany, the name means 'Jupiter's Blood', and it was very popular in ancient Rome. In Italy it is often blended and it's famous as a food friendly style - of which we are big fans! - and is relatively new in Australia.
