There's a new kid in town...
Originally from Tuscany, the name means 'Jupiter's Blood', and it was very popular in ancient Rome. It Italy it is often blended with other varieties, and even white wines like Chianti. It's famous as a food friendly style - which as you should know, of which we are big fans! - and is relatively new in Australia. This is our third vintage, from 8 year old vines. It has savoury characters and a fine, smooth texture. Wild brambles, sour cherry and chocolate flavours with a chewy, textured finish.
